Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Update: The hurricane/storm finally left around when I woke up this morning, but it surely did damage to people's homes, roofs flew off, trees fell, people were without water and electricity up until this evening.

Heard it did lots of damage to St.Lucia and I'm sure St.Vincent and the other Caribbean islands, and it's on it's way to Haiti

Guys please pray that it doesn't reach there and it dies before going anywhere. Haiti has been through a lot.

We are currently being hit by Hurricane Tomas here in Barbados, it's so beastly, the wind is violent :S

Please pray for the people here and the people of the Caribbean, I can't imagine what outside must look like or what their homes look like

There is no doubt other islands will be badly affected if it gets worse

Hurricane warnings have been issued for Barbados, Martinique, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines, while tropical storm warning were in effect for Dominica, Grenada, and Trinidad and Tobago.

We've hardly had many of them, most we got were storms as well, this was quite a shocker, it's still over us, might have to brace ourselves if the tail passes over, right now it's headed for St. Vincent and St. Lucia
