I would like to apologise for my last rage on my jounral entry about the artists Guillermo Vargas "Habacuc" and his art piece (the dog), my friend *
Fangfingers cleared up a rumor about the whole exhibition...quoting from him-
"The whole exhibit was done to make the point that no one viewing it first hand would untie the dog and set it free.
THe dog did not die nor was it deprived of food ( it was fed secretly at night ) it was the artists job to convince the viewers the dog was starving and deprived.
Turns out the artist is helping to prove way more than people's inability to step up and take action.
Supposedly 2 seperate cruelty protection advocacies checked into it and could prove none of the claims you are helping to spread."
sorry again for my misconception and not looking into it further, I heard about animal cruelty and just pounced. Now I've learnt my lesson and will look into further claims in the future. ...

has an idea to start a DA magazine...I also thought about it as well, its a great Idea...and I'm sure majority would love it, check it out on his journal

My portofolio page on DA
[link]...I would really appreciate your input on ones that I shouldn't keep in there...I don't think I know which ones are my best and which are not...
I think the portfolio page is a great idea...and I would love to see yours if you have one (for beta testers only)

These artists are talented and very ambitious, some are my close friends, and their styles range from traditional-(drawing, painting) to photography- (fashion, nature, portraits), to graphics and some really diverse styles of art. The ones I chose from their galleries are to me, really strong and its what distinguishes their Barbadian style, personality and culture.
So show them some love and visit their gallery

(He's very new and needs to put up more stuff)
These pieces below are some that I found that would be nice to include in this feature, the colours represent the colours of the Barbadian Flag
