Took this in I think the first year of my photography class in college, we had to make a pinhole camera, was fun placing it and timing the shots without having a clue about how it would come out. Though every time you needed to take a new photo, back to the darkroom to remove the film and start over!!

I remember we had to create a collage of about 16 photos and we couldn't do it on the school compound...so guess who hid in their closet trying to remove the films in pitch black without any air all the while making sure I put the film back in right and not back to front. I sooo miss those days!

This one was a negative which I scanned and inverted in ps.

Sounds fascinating! Although I know the film era was not meant for such a careless and disorganized person as me (I would never have kept notes about my settings in each shot so that I knew what I did wrong in each case and try again) I guess there was a great amount of magic involved in developing your own films and finding out that you had succeeded in some shots!

haha, but Maria, I don't even remember keeping notes myself lol, I don't think I ever recorded my fstops and shutter speeds even though I was supposed to lol

oh yeah, it was fun, also exhausting and sometimes you occasionally would feel high from all the chemical inhalation. It sure makes you appreciate how far advanced photography has come :)

You wouldn't happen to remember what sort of film you using would you? I quite like how this looks sort of blue.

Nope, I can't remember, sorry :(

:) Thank you, the negative scan was a sepia, so the inverse made it blue and I liked it...I tend to love blue
