For some reason these leaf shots reflect who I am and how I feel even the way I title them :O maybe they are my self-portraits through my subconscious...does that make any sense?

Wow - the monochromatic nature of the pic feels like a lie. You feel like there's more color there than there is. I find myself checking the color levels on my monitor.

And the feeling like the leaf should be at the center, and isn't... quite... there...

thank you, subconsciously I end up placing the focal point in the center when I'm really not supposed to :lol: I was trying to avoid that

It does make sense, a lot of sense! :heart:

What I like the most about your pictures is how the background colours reflect what was in your focus. I don't know how your photographs always turn out so perfect.
Especially like about this one how soft it looks... so ... fragile, but strong at the same time.

really :O I didn't even notice that lol...I don't do the colour thing purposely...they don't always turn out so ';perfect' sometimes I take a couple of shots and don't like the composition or angle...sometimes my photos aren't so great and I don't post them :P
