    • Edit:Hey guys, I not too long got back from the NIFCA exhibition/competition that I entered, turns out I got bronze for both my 'I Heart You' and 'Bridal Mehndi' :)

    It's better than last year, I didn't get anything, and I can't figure out their judging criteria either, most photos didn't get past a bronze, and some didn't get anything either :O :B

Hi there,

My name is Faheema but you can call me Famz :P

A little about my artistic side
I promise to keep it short and um not so boring cus I can get carried away.
From the time I was young I always loved making things by hand and drawing stuff from nature, I was just so fascinated with creating anything my mind could imagine. For the past two years I have taken great interest in photography, so much so that just by holding a camera in my hands I felt empowered and on top of the world. For me, photography is a way of expressing how I feel, how I see and how I interpret life, experiences and things around me. I look for the meaning behind almost everything, try to understand it and create it through my photography and art. They are my canvasses, my eyes in which I see things and my mind in which I think. Which brings me to why I like to look and search for meaning in everything, especially art and life. I am a full time student studying for my B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Graphic Design.
